This tutorial was written by me and any similarities to any other is just a

coincidence. This tut was written in PSP 9 but should work in all versions.

 This tut assumes you have a moderate working knowledge of PSP.

What you will need

 tube of choice

kit of choice

Font of choice-I used “comic-book”-HERE

animation 287 mmg by Scrappy bit of fun-HERE

Let’s get started!

Open a 700 x 700 Canvas

Selections all –copy and paste Paper 13 into selection keep selected

New raster layer-copy and paste Paper12 into selection-Blend mode-Lighten

Duplicate paper 13 layer drag to top-blend mode-exclusion.

Selections-None.

Copy and paste elements as follows I have put the % of resize and any

special instructions. See tag for placement. Add drop shadow where you like.

Copy and paste element 58-No resize then mirror

7-No resize

5-50-Blend mode Overlay

135-50

149-50

Copy and paste tube 50%

16-50

If not animating

add element 68-resize 35%

71-25%

Merge flatten-resize-sharpen

Add © and License info and name .Save as Jpeg

If animating take elements

68 and 71  to Animation shop

Two separate animations.apply

image transition as below to each one.

minimize both animations.

Open Animation 297 mmg-edit select all

animation-rotate-Left-90-ok

Go back to PSP copy tag-make sure you have resized flattened

and added © and name and take to animation shop

Past as new animation-duplicate this ani till there are 14 frames-

edit select all- propagate paste.

Go to flame ani –copy and take to tag and past into current frame

just above the gun.

minimize the tag ani

reopen the boom the two boom ani’s

you should have already applied the image transition to both

on the green one –select all-animation-mirror

select all -copy

open the yellow boom ani –select all copy and apply to Green boom ani-

paste after current frame. minimize.

Apply to tag –Paste into current frame

go back to boom ani reverse the frame and apply to other side of tag ani
